Far from the crowds, come ride the deserted singletracks in the unspoilt and remote mountains of Piemonte. An incredible E-MOUNTAIN BIKE ENDURO TOUR ! We could even call it an “ALL MOUNTAIN TOUR” as we will need to pedal up to find the best high mountain trails…
The mountains in the Stura Valley are steeper and more impressive than those in the Queyras. The Mercantour Park and the natural geological border with France are just around the corner. You can sense that life here used to be tough, the valley was predominately used for grazing sheep but is now fully invested in the development of mountain biking. Nowadays, the Stura Valley has all the facilities of a top-end mountain bike resort. Part of its charm is the isolated position, the local hospitality, delicious food, perfectly preserved mule and military trails….A taste of paradise on our doorstep !

ITINERARY
High Stura Valley
We start this E-MOUNTAIN BIKE ENDURO TOUR with a great circular ride at the top of the valley. Alpine pastures and fast paths that you can straight line, you will feel like you are high up in the mountains right from day one! Because this is more than just a warm-up ride, you are free to decide whether you want to go back down the same path or take a more playful downhill trail?…
Tajare Bike Zone
Recently established in the Demonte region, this “Bike zone” corresponds to a large mountain area where the XC – All Mountain has been showcased who offers numerous routes for E-MOUNTAIN BIKE ENDURO.
It’s up to us to make the right choice, the “longest and the highest loop”, just to discover another facet of the Stura Valley which was one of the most active in mountain biking since more than twenty years. We understand why once there …. they love it!

High mountain routes
It’s impossible to come to the Stura Valley without taking one of the most beautiful high mountain trails in the area. We head to the Gardetta Plateau to take possibly one of the best downhills trails of your life…! 1500 m of descent with a breathtaking view over the valley
Vinadio Area
A local classic, it won’t take you long to understand why! It’s perfect, the view is as good as the trail. Imagine yourself on a techy downhill track with a panorama over the valley below… it’s hard not to lose your balance ! This ride is just so great to end up your E-MOUNTAIN BIKE ENDURO TOUR.
An advanced level of MTB is required for this tour
You should able to ride switchbacks, control your braking and have experience of riding on single tracks. You should master all MTB skills and be able to handle all types of terrain. If you have any doubt about your ability please contact us so we can advise you on the best tour for you.
Average ascent / descent = 1400 m minimum / day (Sometimes more like 1700m)
Distance / Day = 40 to 50 km per day

Pistes suitable for a motor vehicle = 30 % (Accessible for everyone, ascents and descents, sometimes at altitude)
Playful fun paths = 20% (Suitable for proficient riders. No real dangers)
Technical paths = 50 % (Often narrow or rocky, a knowledge of basic biking techniques is required)a
Transfer by 9 seater minibus with a bike trailer to the departure points.

The accommodation provided has been chosen for their outstanding hospitality, quality of food and ability to cater to groups of cyclists. (Secure area for bike storage, repairs zone and bike wash…) We will let you know further details of the accommodation when we receive your enrolment dossier
Most of the accommodation for our tours are in gites or shared rooms and include full board. (The picnics are provided by the gite or Guil e bike staff). We also provide a snack, however, we recommend that you bring your own additional refreshments so that you can sample a few of the delicious local specialities…
