Based at the crossroads of 3 spectacular massifs in the north of the Hautes Alpes (Ecrins – Queyras – Guillestre) With this EBIKE Multidays tour, you can take advantage of your central location to explore one of the most unspoilt place in the southern Alps. Between the turbulent waters of the River Guil and the turquoise blue of the River Durance, between the north and south-facing slopes, between the plains and the mountain, this e-bike tour is what you could call one of contrasts.
3 days of easy to intermediate EMTB riding, to familiarise yourself with E-Mountain biking whilst enjoying everything our magnificent mountain playground has to offer. Get involved!

ITINERARY
Guillestre side: The Durance Valley
The first day of our ebike multiday tour, to get used to your bike whilst discovering the areas rich heritage and outstanding beauty. After a 360° tour, viewed from the ramparts of Mont Dauphin we head off along the sun-dried slopes of Saint Crepin before heading down to ride along the cool banks of the River Durance. A picnic lunch stop and a paddle in the lake before spending the afternoon exploring the Guil Gorge and the Guillestre plateau.
Ecrins side: The Freissinières Valley
A magnificent glacial valley surrounded by awe-inspiring limestone cliffs, set above the River Durance and the wild Byaisse Torrent and leading us to the gateway of the Ecrins Park. Following an elevated path at the top of the valley, enjoying the view of the Durance Valley from above. Passing through some of the most beautiful hamlets in the Haute Alps before descending back down on a super fun trail.
Queyras side: The Furfande Valley
Today we use the minibus to take us closer to the Furfande Valley, an area reputed for its spectacular panoramic views of the high Queyras peaks. The option of a meal in a mountain refuge before a legendary descent back to Mont Dauphin…Enjoy…
An advanced level of MTB is required for this tour
You should able to ride switchbacks, control your braking and have experience of riding on single tracks. You should master all MTB skills and be able to handle all types of terrain. If you have any doubt about your ability please contact us so we can advise you on the best tour for you.
Average ascent / descent = 900 m minimum / day (Sometimes more like 1200m)
Distance / Day = 25 to 40 km per day

Pistes suitable for a motor vehicle = 30 % (Accessible for everyone, ascents and descents, sometimes at altitude)
Playful fun paths = 30% (Suitable for proficient riders. No real dangers)
Technical paths = 40 % (Often narrow or rocky, a knowledge of basic biking techniques is required)a
Transfer by 9 seater minibus with a bike trailer to the departure points.

The accommodation provided has been chosen for their outstanding hospitality, quality of food and ability to cater to groups of cyclists. (Secure area for bike storage, repairs zone and bike wash…) We will let you know further details of the accommodation when we receive your enrolment dossier
Most of the accommodation for our tours are in gites or shared rooms and include full board. (The picnics are provided by the gite or Guil e bike staff). We also provide a snack, however, we recommend that you bring your own additional refreshments so that you can sample a few of the delicious local specialities…
