ITINERARY
Southern part of Queyras (Green forests, sharped turns, pine trees and highlines…)
An early morning transfer to Ceillac then a progressive climb on limestone trails and steep single track to the most beautiful mountain pass in the Queyras.
5* Picnic (type: light BBQ + drinks + taste the local produce) halfway through the ride, transported by our staff. Bike maintenance if required and a battery change!
2nd part of your EMTB ENDURO TOUR in a stunning part of mountain following a trail cutting along the edge of the mountain. Ups & Downs all the way to St Véran then a mind-blowing downhill to Aiguilles where a delicious meal and our accommodation awaits…
Northern part of Queyras (“Uphill flow” mode, rocky sections, alpine meadows, long and fast descents !)
Early departure from the gite, direction ‘Peas’ following a mountainside trail at Meyries leading to a stunning path cutting across the edge of the mountain with breathtaking views. A rolling countryside ride, a 5 * picnic next to a lake, and of course another battery change!
In the afternoon, a climb up an alpine pass “which is totally worth it” and a journey through some of the most beautiful mountain pastures in the Alps, returning back to Mont Dauphin on a trail that features in the TOP 5 of the best downhills in the Alps.
So…whose in?
An EXPERT level of EMTB is required for this tour
You should able to ride switchbacks, control your braking and have experience of riding on single tracks. You should master all MTB skills and be able to handle all types of terrain. If you have any doubt about your ability please contact us so we can advise you on the best tour for you.
Average ascent / descent = 2000 m minimum / day (Sometimes more like 2300m)
Distance / Day = 60 km per day

Pistes suitable for a motor vehicle = 15 % (Accessible for everyone, ascents and descents, sometimes at altitude)
Playful fun paths = 45% (Suitable for proficient riders. No real dangers)
Technical paths = 40 % (Often narrow or rocky, a knowledge of basic biking techniques is required)
Transfer by 9 seater minibus with a bike trailer to the departure points.

Repairs stand and spare parts for any eventual repairs
The accommodation provided has been chosen for their outstanding hospitality, quality of food and ability to cater to groups of cyclists. (Secure area for bike storage, repairs zone and bike wash…) We will let you know further details of the accommodation when we receive your enrolment dossier
Most of the accommodation for our tours are in gites or shared rooms and include full board. (The picnics are provided by the gite or Guil e bike staff). We also provide a snack, however, we recommend that you bring your own additional refreshments so that you can sample a few of the delicious local specialities…
